This Saturday we took a trip to Grandfather Mountain. A privately owned park in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They are well known for their Mile High Swing Bridge, it is a beautiful area. To see pictures, click through the New Online Photo Album link to the left.

Well, I have not posted much news lately, but I have been posting pictures (Click link in the menu). Well, it has been a fun summer. Marisa, her mother, and the kids just got back from Myrtle Beach and boy, did they have fun. This was the kids first trip to the beach. Christopher just had his doctors visit and Marisa did a little comparison between this visit and Louis' previous visits. It appears that at age 4 and a couple months, Christopher is taller than Louis at age 5 and heaver than Louis at age 6. There is a very good chance, per the doctor, that he will be over 6 feet tall. I always knew he was going to be a football player.

Recently I have started using a lot of Google's newest offerings. Including Gmail (Michael.Bouchard@NOSPAMgmail.com) Google for my domain (Mike@NOSPAMbouchards.net), Google Calendar which is tied to my gmail account, Google Notebook, and the latest, still in beta, picasa web album (see link to the left). the latter is a program I have been using for a little while to organize my pictures and as soon as they started the beta, have been using to host my photo album online. It is easy to use and very easy to upload photo's to the net. Let me know what you think.

Another year some more pictures. I still need to get a new camera, but until I do, I am glad I have one that I can borrow from time to time. On the 29th of May, we took a trip to the Lazy 5 Ranch. Essentially a "safari" type place where you can drive through and get up and to feed the animals. It was pretty nice, and the kids loved it. Especially when one of the animals tried to lick Marisa, I did get a shot of the tongue.

Well, I started a new page the other day and finally sat down to finish it and a second page. I would have had a 3rd, but for some reason the CD from the 2nd roll of film contained the picuters from the 1st CD. Strange. Well, It has been a while since I have updated the site. One big reason is that my Digital Camera has finally bite the dust, time for a new one. I have had the camera for almost 7 years, bought it when Louis was only a month old. Well, here are a couple new pages, one from Louis' 6th Birthday and some recent ones when i borrowed the camera from work.

I have just added some old pictures from the original website. Today I have uploaded all pictures taken from 1999, well, all that were good. I am in the process of gettting 2001 updated and will post those soon. One thing to note, when I first got a digital camera I named the pictures any old way I wanted. Well, this became a problem when I wanted to put the pictures in order of time taken. So, there is a little problem of continuity.

I am now starting to sound like a broken record. It has been several months since my last update and boy has a lot happened. Well, first with me, as many people have heard I have gone under the knife twice this year. 1st, in March I had a Cholesteatoma removed from my left ear. A Choleasteatoma is a benign Tumor. I have probably had mine for many a year, as while most are the size of a pea, mine was the size of a golf ball. Way I see it, if you are going to do something, do it BIG. Next, I had my eyes fixed, Laser Surgery rocked. I went from about 20/400 to 20/20. It is still weird to see without wearing glasses. There have been a couple of times that I have gotten up in the AM and started looking for my glasses, cursing myself since I could not remember where I left them the night before.

Louis started Kindergarten this August, and has been having a blast. He doesn't much like getting up at 5:25 in the morning, but that Bus does get there at 6:25 and he is slow in the AM.

Christopher misses Louis during the day but is having fun getting Marisa's full attention.

Well, all in all it has been a good few months since my last post. I hope that everyone is doing well. I am in the process of updating some old pages from my first website and hope to have some posted in the next few weeks. Until next time.

Wow, it has been quite sometime since I have performed an update. A lot has happened since January. Louis turned five, Christopher saw his first snow storm, and then turned 2. he is getting bigger and bigger everyday. Enjoy the new pictures.

Happy New Year! I hope that everyone has had a good holiday, it has been pretty busy around here, getting ready for Santa and all. Well he arrived on time and Louis had a blast, I think that it is the first year that he has understood Santa. He came to me early that morning, and told me that Santa had come and brought lots of presents. A little bit later he comes up and says, see what Santa brought me. We soon got up and opened some presents. Christopher, while he didn't really get into the opening of the presents of course liked playing with the paper. And when he realized that toys came covered with this paper he would run in place while one was opened. All in all it was a good Holiday. Until next time.

I have posted pictures from February, including some of Christophers first steps. We have just passed one birthday and have another one creeping up on us. I will have pictures posted as soon as possible after Christophers first birthday. Should be messy. That is all till next month.

Hello all, it has been several months since I last posted any pictures so I have some catching up to do. I have posted pictures for the months of November, December, and January. Christopher is getting bigger every day. While Louis has started to learn spanish and is able to spell his name. I will be posting new pictures mid to late February, Louis's birthday is coming up so we should have plenty of pictures.

It seems that Christopher will be walking sooner that expected. At 7 months he started to pull himself up and it seems that sometime in his 8th month he will be walking along the couch. Christopher also has 2 teeth comingin and likes to let people know that he has them.I have been working on the site some more and feel that I am getting closer and closer to something that is fairly professional. I have now removed all frames and have begun using server side includes which enables me to have the same menu and style throughout the website. I have also changed the news page to a new ASP version which will build the news page on the fly. I hope that everyone is doing well. Have a good thanksgiving and I will have new pictures soon.

Hello to all, It has been a busy few months since I last added anything. Everyone here is doing well and we hope all is well with you and yours. Christopher has been sitting by himself for a couple weeks now and just cut his first tooth. So far it seems that his teeth will come in easier than Louis' did *knock knock* on wood. He recently found out the joys of pulling himself up. Pretty soon we will need to put in the baby gate. Well. I hope everyone will enjoy the new pictures I have put up.

I have been working on the site and have almost redone the whole thing. I have moved around most of the picturestrying to get them organized by month instead of when they were posted. This results in some months having multiplepages per month. Please look at the bottom of the page and if you see "Next" then there will be multiple pages. I amtrying a new menu format so please bear with my while I work out the kinks. I have added many new pictures from August 2002. Please let me know what you think about the new look and feel of the site, criticism is welcomed. Enjoy!Also. I am in the process of changing to a new ISP so my email account will be changing soon. I will send out amessage when that happens.

I am working on revamping the site once again. The new site will be using ASP.NET to create and display the pictures.The ASP application I am using will allow me to quickly create a page of pictures, the old way took about 1 hour fromstart to finish. This will be much much easier.Please bear with me while I work on the format of the site. Until then the navigation will be a little off. I am onlygoing to have pictures from 2002 for now, but will have more as soon as I can get the format worked out.
